What is Present Women?

On Saturday in between the thunder and craziness of hosting our first event for Present Women I had trouble answering in one sentence why I started Present women and what I’m doing with the money from the bracelet sales. The truth is it’s not about me it’s about what WE can do together.

Together this past week WE were able to find clothes and a place to sleep for a homeless woman and her two kids. WE were able to connect a women from Venezuela with a group of women that understands what she is going through. WE dropped egos and judgements to work together and made new friends in the process.

As a celebrity makeup artist, I'm always surrounded by pretty people, but I've also been able to witness present beauty. Present beauty glows from within. It's a presence that comes from embracing who you are and celebrating the unique beauty in all women. None of us are wrapped the same, that's the beauty

”What my goal is with Present women is to inspire women to come together and support each other.

We are stronger together.

WE will share true stories about women that are present beauties to show we are more alike than different.

We will be able to support and donate to women in need. Not just homeless but in areas as varied as the issues the average woman deals with everyday.

WE will redefine that beauty isn’t about being perfect. It’s about being real because real is perfect.

The charm bracelets are a symbol to represent a group of women that pledge to support each other instead of judge. It’s a group of women that don’t settle for being pretty but a present beauty.

I’m so grateful for the women in my life who have shown me what present beauty is and I’m looking forward to what WE can accomplish together.
